The wreck of HMS Snaefell has been found off the north east coast of England. She was one of the last ships to leave Dunkirk during the evacuation of the beaches.

HMS SNAEFELL was the Campbells steamers PS WAVERLEY. Its strange that two paddlers named WAVERLEY were both in service at the same time (albeit one in Scotland and one on the south coast of England) and both sunk within a year. Rwegards, Walter.
