Hello Everyone!!

PS Monarch is off for a jolly on the Tamar 24th May-1st June.  Does anybody have any insights as to the paddle steamer history of the river before we arrive?
Also if anybody is down that way, it would be great to meet up, have a pint and have a chug whilst we're there!

I should qualify my last post by saying, I hate wide loads and craning plans!!  I'm sure that everything will go wonderfully-but at this stage, I wonder if she'll ever hit the oggin at this rate!

She's back home!!  Somebody caught our arrival at Calstock on video-watch it till the end though and you'll get a really good feel for what the village is really like.  It was nice to think that we were the first paddle steamer to come through the viaduct in well over 80 years!
