New here from Connecticut

Hey all, I am new around these parts. I am interested in learning more about steam engines and stern wheelers so this seems like the logical place to waste some time. My interest in paddle wheelers goes back to a few years I spent on the Mississippi as a kid. The later I found a book on packet boats and the seed was planted again. Now I guess it has done something as it's all I can seem to think about now. Anyway, here I am.
