Hi Eddy  / All
My excuses are -
Anything I post right now on what I'm up to is going to look like an advert and i don't want to appear to be abusing the site.

January is usually a very quiet month for me, what with the weather and most people being 'fair weather' boaters, I tend to not have any business.
This year I have been teaching skiing at the local Dry Slope and with the weather the way it is i have lessons every day ..... roll on Feb for a day off .

I know the site has been quiet of late but I'm sure almost everyone would agree what has been posted is worth keeping the site going for!  Quality rather than quantity perhaps ???
Regards,
Kim

I'll go along with that, Kim   (Quality rather than Quantity)

Says it all really.

I pop in at least once a day, but don't have anything to say (at the moment)  ( busy building a Non Paddler, so hoping not to be banned)   :whistle

I think everyone goes through these phases Ken, should pass without any long term side effects .... :D
Should be a cracking big lifeboat but a hell of a lot of work ahead ... best of luck,
Kim

I agree that at this time of the year, everything goes into the doldrums.
My club has 116 members, but only a dozen are turning up, and that's just for a coffee, as the lake is completely frozen over with 6inch thick ice.
Its too cold to build in the hut even with heater on, so I just sit and admire the lowering level of THE FAMOUS GROUSE!

I also visit every day and look forward to seeing the latest instalments to all the builds, now I'm back at work - and that's been shovelling snow and grit spreading for the last two weeks - I'm up at 5.30 am and home about 6 pm and don't get much done on the model building front so nothing much to write about...
... I do usually check all the new posts though before sleeping ...

I must confess I've not been able to post much recently but School, as usual, has been in the way with GCSE options and stuff. They're sorted for now, until I have to sit them which is a while away.

Visiting grandchildren and celebrating my son's 40th birthday so out of circulation. A 40 year old son and two grandchildren, who would have thought it.

Take heart Eddy the first snowdrops will be out in a couple of weeks and we will hopefully all be out of hibernation.

I was just thinking ( a dangerous thing at the best of times! ), but it's now almost a month since we had the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, so things can only get better!  :great

You can cut grass if you want Clark, I've found the ideal solution to mine..... Let the weeds grow and then the grass cannot compete. Our lawn (if you can call it that?) has no grass left now, the weeds have taken over.

I keep trying to convince my wife that it's the natural look , but I'm not sure she believes me yet?

Yes Eddy I though it has been a bit quiet. As I try to visit the site most days. Unfortunately I haven't posted anything lately. My excuse the ELF has been staying, so the Duke is aat a stand still. Geoff
