Has the Forum been Attacked??

I have just received a spam e-mail for Zimbabwe through the e-mail address I have registered with the forum.  It was flagged as an e-mail from Paddleducks. Needless to say, it has NOT been replied to and has been deleted from my system. However, I have now changed my profile so that memebers cannot send me an e-mail.

A spammer managed to register yesterday, and sent a few Personal Messages to about 20 users - You will have received an email notification with the contents of the message. As long as you Do Not click on any links in the message it will be harmless as the forum doesn't allow any file attachments to be sent.

Needless to say the spammer has been removed from the forum and blocked from any further access.

Please send a copy of the email to me at admin@paddleducks.co.uk and I'll look into it further.... I'm fairly sure it's the spammer I mentioned, but just to be sure I'd like to double check!

Sadly we wage a constant battle with these idiots, as does every other forum on the net - But any attempt to breach our system WILL be taken seriously and dealt with!
