Hi Derek, the subscription system will automatically send you a reminder 14 days before it expires
...

Eddy.....the system did not send the AUTO reminder  :a102........possibly the cause of few subscriptions........

Paypal confirms you have my GOLD subscription this morning......

Come on PD's....please lets help out here if you can....after all it is our WEB site.......just run  :whistle by Eddy.......:beer Derek

I've only just had a chance to check, but the email was definitely sent Derek - I can only assume it vanished into cyberspace somewhere :(

My sincere thanks for your support by making a donation..... don't know what I'd do without you! :D

Regards
Eddy

I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate the help that everyone gave by making a donation - It really was very rewarding to know that so many people seem to think that Paddleducks is worth supporting!

So a BIG THANKYOU to all concerned!

Regards
Eddy

Hello Derek, yes EDIT PEEWEE (Ian) is the correct UK contact for Paddleducks since he and Kiwi (Harry Duncan) took on the responsibilities early in 2011. They have done a strerling job in keeping Paddleducks up and running. It is good to see that there is continuing support by subscriptions to keep the site to the forefront of Paddle enthusiasts everywhere.

cheers

Jim

p.s. That reminds me i'll have to shove my subs in soon too :-)

Hi All,

Thank you Jim and Derek for raising this issue.  I should have mentioned earlier to our existing membership that the payments and hosting costs have been transferred to myself.  Eddy asked awhile back so he could concentrate on other things and not worry about the continuing costs of paddleducks.

Again apologies for not posting this change earlier.

I'd like to donate, but I can't use Paypal. Last year they said I'd reached my lifetime limit of Paypal charges/payments ($5000), and to continue with them I'd have to give them my bank account numbers (or sign up for Paypal's credit card). It was "for increased security" they said. Well, *I* don't feel more secure by letting my bank info out, nor by  taking on another credit card (I already have 3). I always pay my bills on time, so it's not like I'm a deadbeat. So, Adios Paypal....

If you have another way for an American to pay Paddleducks, please let me know.

Thanks,
Brooks Martin
