Cheddar Models Ltd

I'm sure most of you will have heard of Cheddar Models Ltd, especially if your into model steam engines...

Someone at my local club mentioned that they had gone bankrupt - Does anyone know if this is true? There's no mention of any problems on the Cheddar Models website, so I can only hope that it's one of those unfounded rumours that raise ther ugly head from time to time...

Hi Eddy,
due to a longer sickness of John,the production&business run out of control.The web-site is for the moment in "repair" (according to a well informed source) "Stuart Models"has taken over.
Date of restart and under which name,for the moment unknown.

Thanks for the update Henri - It's sad to hear that such a great company was allowed to get into such a state though. Lets hope Stuart Turner buy it and allow it to continue...

Hi Eddy,
Go to <www.stuartmodels.com> click on News & Informations,click on
news and you will have the statement of Stuart Models (24June2005) regarding the take over of Cheddar Models.
