An article from the magazine 'Engineering' of March 4 1910. The article was from a bound volume hence the blackness down the centre of the page. Quite a fascinating read had several items with photos and plans of the latest news from the building of the Panama canal.

Hi Barry,

interesting sternwheeler!

This will be in 1 : 24 a very suitable live steam model. Also good stability in water can expected - compared with the American type sternwheelers.
One can make the engine and boiler visible, the Regner 12/36 steam engine - slighly altered - would be right for propulsion.

Yes very interesting...would be a nice model. I don't know much about these types of sternwheelers, but is it not quite unusual to have feathering floats? Don't think I have seen that before    :-\
