It's this weekend! camera is charged and ready, I look forward to finally getting a look at the 1/32 scale Medway Queen  :D

ps. I asked  the creator of this superb model about how the railing stanchions were made (as I need the exact same type) and I also gave him the address to this site - so hopefully we can ask all about the drive system, power supply etc, everything of interest  :D

Who was the builder? And where did you photograph it at?

It was at the Kew Bridge Steam Museum (model boat show - june 4th & 5th) but, and I hate to admit this (mind like a sieve my mother would say...) I forget his name! ...and I only just read it in an article about last years event too!!
I'll see if I can find the magazine where I read it  :oops:

...it was Brian Eaton, of course (and though I'd read about it in Model Boats and Paddlewheels, it was earlier on in this very forum that I'd read about this years show...)
by the way, it was good to see David Abrahams' Cornish Queen is still around!

(that pic is not from this show but a PSPS model rally at Blackheath about 18 years ago!
