Wonderful information Barry.
I had been unaware of Duchess.  That hints that there may have been others in the era.
Decoy is a replica of an earlier one which did spend time in WA.
There are some other items on both in paddleducks.

I don't know if any of the early coastal boats was a paddlesteamer: all of the famous ones were screw.

I did ask a staff member at the museum where the Duchess model was if they had any plans or more information about her. The response was a blank look and supprise they had a paddlesteamer model, but they did have plans for Australia 2. I gave up at that point. I haven't had chance since we came back to look for any more details.
