Siga-Siga (Greek for slowly, slowly)

Hi Eddy!

The site has been DESPERATELY slow for me for about the last 24 hours - is it me, or is there a problem?  :-\

It must be your host, or one of the links your going through between the UK and Greece Stuart, everything is performing perfectly normally for me, and there's no problems reported by our host.

Try powering down your modem for a minute or so, and then reboot your machine - It may be something on your computer?

Regards
Eddy

Thanks Eddy - will do. I'll do a system clean up as well. The strange thing is none of the other sites I visit are slow!

I'll try your suggestion.

If your using a broadband connection under Windows, click on "Start", then click "Run", and type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes!) and click "OK".

That will flush your modems domain name server cache which can sometimes become corrupted and cause problems....

Right! I've done a disc cleanup, a defrag, a full system scan, re booted the modem and run flush dns. And the site is still slooooooooooow - could it be just a web problem from Greece?. I've checked other UK based sites as well.

It certainly seems like it Stuart - As I said, everything is running normally for me, so there certainly isn't a problem with the site.

Hopefully it will clear itself in the next day or two....

Regards
Eddy
