Now isn't that one of the most beautiful things you'll ever see?

Well done Mike

thanks for your efforts to bring us photos of the paddlers. We Yanks really appreciate it as we can't obviously just drive on over for a look see. When last I was in  England, I was interested in the Short Bros flying boats and paddlers hadn't popped up on my radar yet.  They appeared after having seen a beautiful model of the Great Eastern in a small maritime museum in Ireland. Sadly, I haven't been back to the UK since.
If you happen to see a model of La Marguerite I'd love to see some photos.
regards

So would I! They don't have one there and neither does the Docklands museum, I think a model in 1/32 scale would look impressive.... ::)

I was so captivated by the photos that Mike took that I emailed the Mitchell Library about the PS Brighton. Guess what, they have a COMPLETE set of drawings for her - all 8 sheets! Nevertheless I have ordered a set (subject to cost) - so Walter I will have another set of drawings you may be interested in.

Now all I have to do is finish this workshop and make sure I live long enough to complete these projects!
