I am under the impression that you can take trips on the Waverley up the thames
If any one has been on such a trip i would appreciate any info as regard to dates ,cost , etc

Indeed you can. She come down late-Autumn. More info here, but nearer the time they will do times etc.

Hi yachtmodelman,
Please don't forget that the other fabulous paddle steamer 'Kingswear Castle' sails regular excursions on the Medway from Rochester and Chatham. Also full day courses if you fancy learning to operate a full sized river paddler.
