hi Nikki , we deal with all aspects of shipping both in miniature (the predominent area) and in full size. The only reservation is the full size on most of the topic boards are Paddlers either Steam, Diesle, Electric , Stern wheel Side Paddlers or Centre Paddlers. If the WWII ship is a paddler then a thread on it would most certainly be welcome.
I hope that sets out what we do and what we are about.
cheers

Hi Nikki
Welcome from me also.
Although our main interest is paddle driven vessels, there is a section on the forum headed "Powered Craft" under "Other Marine Models" which deals with non paddle models. Perhaps you could open a thread there on your model warships.

Hi Nikki , I've been associated with the site in this guise for about five or six years. Previously there was a dedicated Yahoo group for a similar time. Most of the Yahoo members have migrated over to this one and I think I'm correct in saying that PJ from Canada is one of the founders of the group. I'm sure someone will rectify that statement if it is wrong. This forum is provided as a site dedicated to the furthering of paddlers of all kinds by a group of four international members (who bear the costs) and to whom we are forever grateful.
cheers

OK jim,
that's cool.. it's a cool site.. i didn't eve know the US had Blockade runner in the civil War, back in the 1800's.. when we went to Newport news back in August, my dad had never been to the The Mariners Museum, so we when there and saw the moniter Center, which is the first US Ironclud, and she and the Virigia AKA Merrimack. So That was cool..
