Hello all. I live in Texas and have been inspired to build a paddlewheeler from reading this forum. So far I have purchased a 6-ch. radio, built two motor/gearboxes, and made a sound unit from amplified computer speakers. Am currently in the process of modifiing two 30 second digital recorder units from All-Electronics($2 ea.) for whistle and calliope. Plan to build a white-noise generator for steam sound. My model will be a free-lance side-wheeler around 3ft. long. Thanks for the wealth of information.
