Hello everybody,
My name is Chris, and I have to admit to having been "loitering with intent" checking the posts here reguarly. My paddler project is very much in the planning stages, but I have done quite a bit now.

It all started about a year ago when I was building a R/C Yacht with the attempt to make it look like the real thing, and realised that not only was I adding so much detail, that most of the additions I was making myself.  Being the kind of person who can never have one project on the go at once, I was looking around for a suitable next project, and decided that a paddle steamer would be a suitable challenge!  I found Richard Webbs Kit of the PS Princess Elizabeth, and since my family has strong ties to Southampton, Weymouth and the IoW, though she would be a good subject.  Since then I have been trawling through books and around the Internet to find useful information.  I still have lots of unanswered questions though.

I suspect that my paddler project will take a while, my wife gave birth to our first son in March, so during the sleepless nights I came up with this.... obviously not complete but....
