To Eddy and all,
Just to let you know that I think I have fixed the stability problem as detailed in my last message. I have made much narrower paddles which definitely help get rid of the water from inside the paddleboxes although the speed of the model is reduced. The other thing I did was take out all the internal ballast that I could and fit a keel 1 1/2 inches deep and lined it with a lead channel which is 2/3 the hull length and 1/16 thick and 1/4 inch high. This might seem a bit excessive but it works and the boat sails much better, even righting itself when effected by wind gusts, which we are having at this time. So special thanks to Walter, Eddy and all the other members who offered help to fix this problem. Now to continue on building the PS Pevensey (1/24 scale) and also continue on with my new Nscale layout.
