Murray River 2007 calendar
« on: March 15, 2007, 04:07:18 PM »
I was at PS Marion's Mannum base on Tuesday, and bought two copies of a 2007 calendar featuring Murray River working boats , published by
Bartel Publications (www.bartelpc.com.au).
They are still available for online purchase.
Cover: Echuca - AA, Pev & Ad
Cumberoona
Canberra
Pride (with an SL and a barge)
AA & Ad
repeat of the cover
Pyap
Melbourne
Rothbury
Coonawarra
a pontoon houseboat
Murray Princess
Marion & Oscar at Goolwa (at a wooden boat festival older than 2005, possibly 2003)
an overview of a Goolwa festival, with Aroona banished to a remote dock (conceivable 2003).

The pubs calendar looks familiar (I have one from an earlier year).  I suspect that each year the photos are repeated; the calendars are not totally fresh (all we change are the dates).

Yeh I have the 2005 calendar...and many of the photos were the same.

I don't think they made one for paddlers in 2006.

I couldn't find one anywhere.

I have the 2007 Working Boats of the Murray River.. I bought it for $2.00 at a newsagent in Ararat in mid-January..
I thought it was an irresistable buy!! Even though the photos of January, February and March were out of date (PS Cumberoona, PB Canberra and PB Pride of the Murray)..
Still another thing to add to the collection.
