Hi all,
A big thank you to Malcom for the latest downloads very interesting reading. I was wondering though what the reaction would be at most of our events now would be though if we showed up with a model that needed a working bilge pump and trailed a oil slick?
Regards,
Gerald

I don't get the connection between my articles and bilgr pumps and oil slicks.
You might also like the downloads under Magazines/ Model engineer.

Hi Malcolm,
In part four on page three he reports "The bilge pump also was working, as a thin trail of oil appeared in the wake of the port paddle-wheel, where the bilge water is discharged"
Regards
Gerald
PS NOT a criticism of the article of author, just an observation on how things change.

Hi Gerald
Oh! one of the ME articles - I thought you were talking about one that I wrote. Back in 1944 they had much more to worry about than a little bit of oil discharged!
