OK, now that I'm back, here's a photo of me on the mv. G L FURR heading up the Ohio River last week. It was a nice week to be out on the river.

Hi folks,

the guy on the far right of the Waverley photo is me, i remember this sailing, there was very Scotish weather  A better photo will be added soon.

Looking forward to see some of you aboard the Waverley in May, kind regards Hans J. Freund

Yep, ALISTAIR...that was the highly enjoyable day we all met aboard "Waverley" on the Clyde 4 years ago... don't feel bad because I don't think any of us were looking our best best given the weather conditions that day.  but we still had fun and it was one of the most memorable days of my life.

As you correctly identified, on your left is Gibbie (Anderson) of the Clyde River Steamers Club who organzied the outing and on your right is his brother, Andy.  In front is Hans Freund from Switzerland who has just sent me an email after all this time.  He's currently working for a motor racing team and is planning to be aboard "Waverley" again in May this year.

I'd love to do another trip aboard "Waverley" and maybe oone day we can organize a Paddleducks reunion ... then 5 years later one in Echucca!

Or there's always the great Riverboat race! (I think its in Mildura....becoz I do believe the Rothbury won again!...please correct me if I'm wrong....I'd love to hear a new steamer name!
