Paddle launch Liberty-Belle
« on: October 30, 2006, 05:57:17 AM »
Just been browsing and came across a very nice site on a very pretty sidewheel launch, Site is full of good photos, and for the engineers plenty of pictures of the building of the steam engine. Well worth a visit.

www.liberty-belle.ch/    will get you there. Regards, walter.
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.

Thanks Walter, it's a link I'd visted before but forgot to add to the Links page. That error has now been corrected and it's listed along with all the others....

Someone had pointed Liberty Belle out to me before in ragrds to building my boat...of course mine is a bit smaller still than Liberty Bell. I would find it interesting to know if my boat contained a real working steam engine would it be the smallest paddle steamer in the world at 3m by 1.5m?
