Derek and others,

We have our normal chat on a thursday evening here in the UK, chat starts at 9pm and ends at roughly 11pm.

We are currently on BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT + 1 hour - 9pm BST is 10pm GMT....

I realise that will make it VERY early in the morning for our Australian cousins, but you can always choose a day/time of your own and use the chatroom at any time you wish.

I hope that clarifies things a little?

I know it was a real pain getting my head around all the time zones when I did the World Time Clocks feature for the site, and to be honest they could still be improved as they make no allowance for daylight saving in the various countries...

I think the confusion is coming about because of the time difference Derek - We chat at 9pm UK time on a thursday evening, which will be early friday morning where you are....

As I said, if that's too early for you, please feel free to get some fellow Aussies together and use the chatroom at a time that suits you better...

It's almost impossible to pick a time/day that suits everyone all around the world

Hello all, whenever I log in now to check the forum postings (of which I am grateful, are many) whenver during our limited daylight    I now make a point of also logging in to the Chat Rooom to see if anyone else is about    Only on a couple of occassion has this happened to be the case. So if you see the Red-Hamish appear, let's have a wee con-flab and put the world ot rights  :luck

Anyway until our paths (or should that be, modelling wakes? ) pass, tale care and keep posting. At least that way we can see what some mad men are up to    V1 & V2 = P1 & P2  :?:  I ask you LOL
