I am researching (as far as I can), a 68x14x4 sidewheeler and other than a note that it had a sharp entry and a round stern seems to be the extent of it.  There is a photograph taken in 1888 but it's too fuzzy except as to above waterline profile. BERTIE built in Windsor NC in 1872 in northeastern part of state on a tributary of Albemarle Sound for mail, freight and passengers principally on Windsor-Plymouth runs on the Cashie and Roanoke rivers with occasional daytrips around the Sound and other rivers. I would like to hear discussion re likelihood of vessel being round vs hard chined. I want to have a 1/2" to 1' model and want to power with steam as original. East Baltimore Iron and Brass made engine,6"x12" inclined single cylinder. May I hear from you. Enjoying WS very much.  Needless to say, I'm a newbie, coming from RC airplanes after vision problems. Retired in NC
