Hi All, I am attempting to finish my fathers Dumas kit. My current question ( there will be more later) is that the plans don't show any ladders or stairs to get to the pilot house level. Does anyone have any pics or drawings that show anything to help? Thanks Greg W

Of all the boats I see and get photos of, I haven't ran across the Creole Queen yet. Here's a few links that has some photos

A closeup of the wheel house. It looks to me there's a stair well that goes down to the Texas cabin inside. Probably has a door that locks to keep passengers from wandering into the wheel house.

Hi Greg,
There are a couple of photos of the Creole Queen in my photo gallery. Not sure they will help your question though! If you need higher resolution versions let me know with an e-mail address and I will re-scan.

there's a picture of a model here -
http://www.virtualpet.com/bright/program/creole.htm
- not that good a picture though...
a couple more here -
http://www.stlouisadmirals.com/AdmiralsWebSite/GalleryPage.asp?id=5
- I'm sure I've seen this model show posted elsewhere on paddleducks...
A nice pic of the real boat here -
http://doors.stanford.edu/~sr/new-orleans-2003/Pages/3.html
... in the evening, a model would look good with yellow LEDS...
pic of the model again -
http://www.arcaneloisirs.com/fr/produit.aspx?IdProduit=149
- in french, but bigger picture than I could find on the 'official' site...
None of the pictures show exactly how crew can access the wheelhouse/pilothouse, I'd guess the door below it on the port side (seen on the evening shot) conceals a staircase/companionway....

Your model is very nice and the photos do help. I'm currently building the railings and can't keep myself focused on getting them done. It must be the procrastinator in me. Greg

Stay with Her big guy. Sometimes it's hard to stay focused when all about you is going mad. But on the other hand I find when all about me is going mad it's a great way to transport me to another place of serenity. Even if for a few hours of mental piece.
