Model Steam Engine ID

This came from a friend who's father built it. I'm trying to ID the tug kit and the steam engine. Would also like to figure out how to connect the boiler to the engine, where to fill the boiler and how to heat it.

I have no experience with steam but I'm guessing the boiler is filled by one of the the two brass fittings that screw in and out. There is a copper tube that comes off the top of the boiler that would connect to one of the fittings on the engine and then the other fitting on the engine is for exaust?

What type of tubing can be used to connect the engine and the boiler?

The area under the boiler is too small to fit a sterno can so I'm not sure about the heat source. It also appears the the engine has no way to reverse?

Found some answers on another board copied below. If anyone has tips on connecting and using this engine I'd appreciate any feed back.

The boiler is made by Saito, looks like you are missing the burner unit. Loyal Hannan Dockyard carries the boiler you may want to e-mail them and see if they can order the burner unit. Not sure on the boiler which is the fill valve. Hi,
the boiler looks like the Saito, I think the top fitting is the safety valve (unscrew it and see if there is a spring on it) and the bottom is the fill over flow. You would remove both and add water to the top until if flowed out the bottom. You could use model airplane fuel line (silicon) to connect the boiler to the engine. One fitting on the engine is intake and the other is exhaust. The engine will run whichever way you start it by turning the flywheel.
