Can anyone help?

I received the following email earlier today - Can anyone help George?

Quote

I'm gatecrashing by jumping in at the deep end. I'm a volunteer at Markham Grange Steam Museum near Doncaster, involved in the restoration of the remains of the port engine and paddle wheel from "Reliant", ex NNM.  I was rooting around the web and found a model produced by Stuart Badger, in the information for which he said he had built the paddle wheel to the original builder's drawings.  As far as I know, Hepples the builders closed in c1924, and NMM say they have no engine or wheel drawings.  There are some drawings in British Steam Tugs by Thomas, reputed to be of Old Trafford / Reliant - but they are definitely not, because of the large number of differences.  Maybe of the 1905 engines, but not of the 1907 OT/Reliant.
I tried his e-mail address, but it didn't work.  So I asked Tom Lee if he knew of a way to find Stuart Badger, and he suggested your Paddleduck web site, from which I got your e-mail address.  So now I have landed, can you help at all please?
Just for interest, "Reliant's" port engine is making slow progress, but it is progess.  To date, the engine is basically assembled, the crank shaft and paddle shaft have been joined, the missing half of the slip eccentric has been re-manufactured, a support bearing for the paddle shaft bearing has been made, the hub has been mounted, the remains of the wheel frame built onto it, the missing 2/3rds have been made and built on, and all eight paddles are now in position.  We can turn the wheel by electric drive.  The next job is the feathering gear mounting system - we have the hub and arms.  We also have the clutch which is now operable.  Eventual plan is to steam it, hopefully by 2007, its centenary.
With regards - George Dickinson.
