log in timeout?
« on: November 16, 2005, 09:30:37 AM »
Hi Eddy,

Tell me, is there a timeout period on the forums, after logging in?

I was just posting a reply to Gerald and by the time I had composed it which took some time, the system appears to have timed out and logged me out, hence I could not post the reply, and it has now disappeared.

Funny thing though, it did not drop the connection whilst I was composing the reply?

Wierd eh!...must be this Jewish computer for OZ.

best regards

Sandy

Hi Sandy,

No there isn't a timeout period - I don't know why you lost your login connection, but there's certainly no setting that would cause that at this end.

Maybe just one of those cyber glitches that we all have to live with from time to time? :-(

Thanks Eddy, I didn't think there was, however, I thought it was worth asking the question. As you say, probably a cyber gremlin....

I will try and reply to Gerald again tomorrow, It's to late now.... the BOSS wan'ts to go to bed..... :?  :?

Keep happy.

Best regards.

Sandy.
