Well, I made it back in one piece. Got over a thousand photos even several paddlers. Got a special treat in Cincinnati, as everyone knows New Orleans was devistated from the hurricane, the Natchez was running up here in the middle Ohio River. She normally runs excursions only in the lower Mississippi. Our stuffing tube on the port shaft got a crack so we had to pull her in dry-dock for repairs. Here's a photo of me standing in front of the boat.

Good to see you back Joe. Sounds like it was a great trip...

The photo of you in front of the boat certainly puts things into scale - it looks HUGE! The boat that is, not you! :-)

Hi Joe,
Is that a Transmitter around your neck  :?: if so that would qualify as the worlds biggest RC tug

Yup, you got that right. It was interesting too. On the way up river from Rockport Indiana we got buzzed by four F-18 fighter jets and two A-10 Warthogs. They were right on top of us and shook the pilot house. I told the captain,"Don't you hate being the target during war games?"
