I have just picked up the Pelikan kit Bohemia, and it looks like My son and I are going to have hours of enjoyment building and sailing her. I wonder can I pick the brains of anyone who has built this kit.
I hope it does not sound a daft question but as I have not done a stall test on the motor does it really need a speed controller of at least 16A as the instructions say?
The placement of the battery is another question, I assume it needs a gel cell as my current packs 2.2Ahr would be too small a capacity. what is the recommended size and type of gel cell and can anyone tell me where it is placed?
Access according to the instructions is velcro, is this a good method with this boat or perhaps some other method can be used.
