Paddle wheel wreck
« on: August 25, 2005, 10:21:15 AM »
I recieved an email from Daved Brink about a wreck he found while diving. I thought you guys would like to check out the site Here's his email.

We are trying to determine the origins of a Stern Paddle Wheeler under water wreck site that lays 30 miles off shore from Naples, FL.  In an attempt to get more information about this wreck I have developed a web site to assist in disseminating current site information.  The site is:
http://www.contrails.com/PaddleWheel/

The web sites asks a number of questions that may be answered by members of your association.  I would greatly appreciate it if you or any of your members would send me any information they might have with regard the wreck seen in this site.  Or, if you have any suggestions as to where I could fine more information on this wreck, that would be great as well.

We might be the only divers in the area determine to leave the site intact and abide wreck site rules and regulations.  We would like to see this site added to a historical site list in order to better preserve it

Feel free to disseminate this web site address to anyone you think could help.  Our e-mail is listed in the web site for any replies.
