Paddle sponsons

I'm well into sponson construction for my Reliant
but not making huge progress at the same time - so far I've made and
binned two already. I felt that these were a bit heavy for outboard
features and would reduce stability. This became apparent to me when I
read Eddie's and Paul's cautionary tales about their respective Director
class paddle tugs in the PD message archives.

So I'm back to square one with sponson bits everywhere!

And next? Paddle parts and assemblies are looming large on the horizon.
Won't that be fun, given my lack of engineering nouce!!!

Will update shortly.

kind regards
Tony
