LOA : 1290 mm plus Rudder of 100mm
BEAM : 220 mm
Over paddleboxes : 440mm
Weight : 13Kg ready to run
: Hull 100 mm ( keel to deck)
: Paddle Diameter : 155mm
Floats : 70 x 20mm ( x 10 per wheel)
Paddle RPM : 158 RPM
Weight of the battery ( 2.5kg) & the 2 motors (1 kg ea).
Weight of Paddle assemblies : approx 250 grms

thanks Brett for all this and the basis for the question is that PS Industry & PS Decoy were
both constructed with very similar sizings and after 1:25 scaling offer

LOA, Industry = 1290 mm, Decoy = 1235 mm
beam, Industry = 220 mm, Decoy = 220 mm
over paddle box's, Industry = 440 mm, Decoy = 350mm
hull deck to keel, Industry = 100 mm, Decoy = 100 mm
paddle wheel diameter, Industry = 155 mm, Decoy = 145 mm
floats, Industry = ten off, 70x20, Decoy = ten off 50x15
paddle shaft speed, Industry = 158 RPM, Decoy planned 160 RPM

So I appear to have one simple fundamental issue here and this is

for a vessel of similar sizing & similar displacement, Industry has 86% more
paddle blade surface area [thrust] than I have allowed for Decoy

I think I am going to ponder more on this issue - Derek
