Paddler electric motors

Hi all,

I went to the Blackpool model boat show over the weekend, and found a
great supplier for paddler electric motors.

I should point out that I have nothing to do with this company, and
have nothing to gain by telling you about them!

The company concerned is called "Model Motors Direct", and they has
some lovely Buehler motors as follows:

PPB1(M) 12v geared motor 60-80 RPM £10
PPB1(F) 12v geared motor 110 RPM £10
PPB1(S) 12v geared motor 24 RPM - 12 RPM at 6v £10

All these motors are very small and light, and they only draw 160mA
ON LOAD!!! I know, a friend of mine bought a couple and we measured
it. Even the stall current is only 300mA.

This company also does some lovely 1:1 toothed belt drives priced at
£2:50 for 2 toothed pulleys and a belt. The belts are available in 2
sizes, a short one for sidewheelers and a long one for sternwheelers.

You can contact Model Motors Direct at:

Harvester Yard,
Ditcheat,
Shepton Mallet,
Somerset
BA4 6RB
England

Tel: 01749-860111

I don't know if they ship abroard, you'll have to contact them and
ask if you live outside the UK.

Regards
Eddy
