Thanks Barry....that is an absolutely beautiful horizontal engine on the Sachenberg in the Netherlands

Interestingly, she shows some multiple mechanical impact damage on the upper crosshead support bar...and on both sides

Not quite sure....don't appear to be from 4kg hammer ....more like a swinging bottom end component impact on a chain block?

What do others think?

Her upper works and gold scroll guilding appears similar to PS Grothe??
