Hi guys. I'm new here so please make allowances for any errors.
It must be 50 years since I last built a model boat (one of the Aerokits range) so obviously well out of date with modern ways of doing things. However I have been building and flying r/c model aircraft in that time so not new to model building or r/c.
I have a problem that my eyesight is failing and I fear that flying will have to become a thing of the past. (I can still drive but only just - DVLA informed). So I'm contemplating building a boat/ship. I have always fancied the Great Western by Brunel. However there appear to be no plans available (I did once ask the Greenwich museum) so it would have to be scratch built. Rather than dive in on a process that I know very little about, I'm thinking about a kit or plan for a similar style of paddler (electric powered) so that I can get some experience.
One day while lurking on this forum, one of the random pictures flashed up a model that I very much like the look of. Can anybody please give me any info - I hope the picture is attached below.
Many thanks in advance for any help.
