In the building process of the 'Dutchess of Hamilton' and would appreciate any information on the ship such as dimensions, source of a plan and photos. Having completed the hull at 1/4' - Foot scale any help with the upper superstucture of the ship would be very useful. Thanks!

She was built for the summer Arran service. The main saloon extended the full width of ship and the promenade deck extended to the bow, giving spacious accommodation inside and out. She Competed with the GSWR’s Glen Sannox until the arrival of Duchess of Argyll in 1906. Reboilered in 1906 and sent to the Gourock station for the railway connection service. Taken over by the Admiralty, in 1915 as a minesweeper off the east coast of England. Mined and sunk near Harwich on 29th November 1915.

Hi JT

I think Brian was seeking details of an earlier Duchess of Hamilton, the paddle steamer not the turbine you refer to.
Cheers from Bob Golder
