Hello, joined this week but taken three days to work out how to do this.
My interests are 7 1/4" gauge locomotives and paddle steam engines.
I am currently about a year away from finishing my wren locomotive and am now looking
at  steam paddle engines for my next projects.
I am hoping i can give model enginering help and receive much help myself regarding engines.

Welcome,  I hope you have fun here.  I'm new to this forum also and hope to use some of your steam knowledge.  A couple of questions to start.  What is the steam pressure required to drive a train?  And does a long narrow cylinder require more pressure than a short hat cylinder?

Thanks  Bob

Welcome to paddleducks, live steam also holds an intrest for myself and steam knowledge seems to be reducing in modeling these days  :)
