Name is Bruce, originally from Tyneside and emigrated to WA in 1972.  I currently race an International One Metre Class yacht but have also built a Groupner Micro Magic yacht.  I enjoy the construction side of modelling and decided to build a paddle boat after another member of my radio yacht club told me about his Mississippi paddle steamer (still in kit form).  I was quite amazed to find that Eddy Matthews is my wife's cousin.  A small world...

As you say, a small world indeed - We'll have to get together on Skype and have a chat sometime. It would be good to catch up!

In the meantime, just fire away with any questions you might have on paddlers and we'll do our best to answer them. Have you decided which paddler you'd like to build yet?
