Stuart Twin Launch Engine from castings
« on: February 14, 2011, 06:32:41 AM »
I am building a Stuart Twin Launch engine from a set of
castings.
I was disappointed when received that 39 parts are not
included in the casting set that are required to complete
the engine, even the crankshaft is not included.

So its buyer beware, you will not know know what else is required until you have purchased the castings.

I machined the crankshaft from 30mm EN1A Steel.

As said on the other forum, very nice work.
What boat are you going to use it in?
