Thank you Eddy for posting all these photos for us.

I hope we can make it to the 2011 Paddlerday with some more Paddleducks on Tour and models as well.

regards Hans

I enjoyed the photos Eddy. Thank you very much for showing them.

Any chance we could have Paddler day earlier in the year to try for better weather and also to miss the great North run.   ;)

Having the show a little earlier has been mentioned before Ken, but it's trying to fit it in so it doesn't clash with other events and peoples holidays....

About the best I can suggest would be the last sunday in August, which would make it Sunday 28th August 2011....

Comments are welcome, but please bear in mind that we cannot please everyone!! :(

Regards
Eddy

Hi Eddy,
Just my 2p's worth...
Sunday the 28th would be better from an accommodation point of view.
I had a quick look at the Premier Inn web site and there is accommodation advertised as available and at a lower rate than the following weekend :)

Regards,
Kim

Hi Eddy,

The 29th August is the Bank Holiday weekend, and that is the time for the Birchwood Shows.

I don't know how many Paddleducks/( Talisman? ) are interested in attending either/both of these.

Regards,
Peter

Hello folks. I was talking to Ian (Darlington club secretary) last night and the MPBA have already been in contact for next years date! Incidentaly the normal date we would hold it in September next year coincides with the National scale steering championships though that shouldnt affect us as I dont know many of us who visit the nationals!. regatds, Walter.
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.

Our club secretary, Ian Archibald, submitted a short write up on the 2010 Paddler Day to Model Boats magazine - It appears in the March 2011 issue.

So I hope Model Boats magazine will bear with us as we publish just that one page online, so our members worldwide can see what they missed?

The 2011 Paddler Day is already in the planning stage, and will take place on sunday, September 4th 2011.

Regards
Eddy
