Maid of Cumbrae
« on: August 11, 2010, 12:31:41 AM »
Hello,

thanks for letting me into your website :)

I want to build a model of the Maid of Cumbrae as converted to a car ferry - there seem to be a few old threads in the forum here regarding her and I was hoping somebody would be able to point me in the direction of plans of some kind?

If anybody can help, I'd be very grateful,

  Thanks,

Paul

Welcome to Paddleducks Paul....

I think Kim Maclean (Talisman) has built a model of the Maid of Cumbrae, so maybe he can help? Try sending him a PM.

Regards
Eddy

Hi Paul,
Welcome, as Eddy said i did build a Maid and a did enjoy her very much.
However I needed space and sold her a while ago..... that space has since been occupied by many more hulls and part built boats which wasn't the plan then ... lol

Anyway all i have left is a profile plan of Maid of Ashton.

I know that there are at least three other Maid Owners / Builders on this forum so shouldn't be to long before you get the help your looking for.

By all means send me a PM (personal Msg) your questions and i will try and help if your still struggling to find info
Regards,
Kim
