Website column width
« on: January 19, 2010, 08:09:04 PM »
Can somebody please tell me why when I open some postings (only about 25% of them) I cannot read the last couple of words on the right hand side of each line. Even the bit at the top that says "Previous - Next" is partly obscured. And yes I know there is the bar at the bottom but that moves  the whole page sideways, not just the posted text. Probably just me being a bunny at computer stuff but it does get frustrating  >:( Ian.

The problem is normally caused by long URL's (website addresses) which cannot be split, so they display on one line and break the forum template.

I beleive it's one of the issues that is being worked on for the next release of the forum software we use, but it may take some time to get sorted as they dn't rush themselves!

Eddy

So the easy solution is if you are including web addresses make them short and on there own line :)
