Hey Ned,
It's nice to see an interest from someone so young. I once was also like you, a young enthusiast. Keep at it, it's worth it.
Grebe has currently stalled...well from me working on her. She lives up in my grandpa's shed so every so often when he gets bored he does a touch here and bit there.
Currently she has a layer of primer on the bottom of her hull, and a bit more patching has gone over that before we apply another coat.
She has also had some patching done on her side.
Her 'wharf' was built on the lake a few months ago now...but we don't have alot of water so it's almost standing on dry ground.
I intend (currently) to finish Grebe to a floating form and then work on paddle propulsion from there.
No work has been done by me because I have clashing hobbies (paddlers and theatre....which don't really work well except of Show Boats) and then school work.
Now that Grebe is up in the shed though I can't use weather as an excuse any more, so I might have to get out there and tinker a bit.
Oh...and I wouldn't want you to trade your photo. I know how special those ones can be.
Sean
