Welsh Water Beckons.......
« on: December 10, 2006, 05:16:49 PM »
As our water bill has got higher than wot I spend on petrol, I've got the urge to float something instead of (or as well as) trying to fly things in our now, never calm, free air :(

Look! I had a go at an MTB a while back and had my high speed fun.....

I've always admired the Waverley - might even find out what the beer's like on it, if it ever paddles back this way one day

Now that I'm here, my head spins at 200 rpm with ideas from paddle tugs to  a sternwheeler with a CD of the "Firehouse Five" jamming away to get the ducks fired up on the local lake!

Thanks for having me :)

Welcome Ade, youve joined a jolly bunch of maniacs - sorry I meant mechanics- never could spell. As to the Waverley , she visits your area EVERY year for a month in May/June and picking up passengers on your part of the welsh coast almost every day. Come and join us you will have a great time. As for the beer, we sell a lot of it, but Iam a real ale man, and it wont keep on a moving ship! If you do decide to sail, I will be volunteer shoppie ang general nuisance on board for about 2 weeks so come and show your face. (We do a nice set of plans for a fiver). Once again, Welcome.  Regards, walter.
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.

Thanks Walter - we'll start camping at Penarth or Newport in the Spring.... but can I buy these plans yesterday, please?  Then I can start cadding and exposing my attempts on the thread in "construction"....

Getting excited now, better walk down and get some Carling (sorry!   )
