Because a couple of spammers have got through our normal security systems and posted unsuitable material on the forum, new users will now be checked before they are activated and allowed to post messages.
Unfortunately this means that the genuine users will now have to wait 24-48 hours before their account becomes active and they are then able to logon...
Sadly the spam and porn merchants are slowly strangling the internet with their garbage, and genuine people suffer the consequences of these delinquent idiots!
Oh well, rant over.... Hopefully the genuine people who wish to join Paddleducks will understand why we've had to take this action, and accept the short delay before they can login and post messages.
