Description: Creole Queen taken in either 1999 or 2000 in New Orleans. You can just see the 'caliope' above the yellow trim at the stern of the top deck. This was use to entertain passengers waiting to board. I believe she must have been fitted with bow and possibly stern thrusters as she moved away keeping parallel to the wharf until out into the stream. The return to the wharf was made in a similar manner. Unfortunately at this time I was not interested in making model boats so didn't gather any info!
