Mt. Washington and scribed decks
«

I am building the Mt Washington and the foredecks are to be scribed
to look like a planked deck. I would like to add a black or white
line in the scribes to make the planks look real. Does anyone have a
good technique to add color to the scribe in the deck to make the
look real?
Thanks,
Richard

Hi
Richard Ive had success using the back of a small olfa knife blade
and steel rule, then staining ,the groove stands out yery dark ,you
could try on a scrap peace.also a brand new deck with black tar looks
different after a couple years use but thats up to choice hope this
is helpful
