Dear sir/member?

There are photos of Reliant in the Photos section of paddleducks taken by me
when at the National Maritime Museum.
The Reliant was a British tug formally named 'Old Trafford' and worked on
the Manchester ship canal and the Tyne.

If you go to the photos section and open the folder PS Reliant you will find
photos of her as well as my model of her as 'Old Trafford'

Further details of her are in the book British steam tugs by P N Thomas
(isbn0 905184 07 6) and in the book 150 years of the Maltese Cross by John H
Proud (isbn 0 9522721 0 5)

hope this helps!

Hi there.
Stuart is being very shy!!! You can also see his super work here:-
http://website.lineone.net/~d.ord/Model%20Tugs.htm
She is a most beautiful model that he made. Well worth a long look.
If you are thinking of making a model of her then you can get a good start
by buying a nice 1:48 scale hull from here (no 673):-

All the best and let us know how you get on with the project.
Best regards
David
