I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A CLUB OR GROUP THAT IS INTERESTED IN MODEL
BOATING. MY GRANDPA HAD A STERNWHEELER ALL THE TIME I GREW UP CALLED
THE HILL AND HILL. IT IS 115FEET LONG AND WEIGHS 65 TONS. WE WERE
MEMBERS OF THE AMERICAN STERNWHEEL ASSOCIATION. AND WENT TO ALL THE
REGETTAS. I STARTED BUILDING MODELS OF ALL THE BOATS THAT WENT TO THE
REGETTAS. I CURRENTLY HAVE TO BOATS RIGHT NOW. TO MORE ARE AT MY
GRANDPARENTS HOUSE. I HAVE ORDERED PLANS FROM TOWBOAT JOES TO BUILD
THE LADYLOIS. I HAVE BEEN ON THE LADY LOIS IN MARIETTA,OH AND
CHARELSTON,WV. MY BOATS ARE ALL BUILT TO LOOK LIKE 1928 TO MODERN
DAY PADDLEWHEEL BOATS. I LOOK FORWARD TO CHATIING WITH PEOPLE WHO
ENJOY MODELBOATING THANKS, JACK HILL

Hi Jack..and on behalf of your Moderators and members a VERY warm
welcome to Paddleducks. Our group has been in operation for almost
two years now and has over 140 members worldwide. We count some of
the world's most knowledgeable model paddlewheel builders in our
midst and the one thing you'll find very evident..everyone is very
friendly, eager to swap ideas and information, and above all, full of
encouragement and help to anyone researcing or building a paddlewheel
ship...either a model OR a full size one!

We'd love to hear more of your adventures aboard the "Hill & Hill"

You'll find (Towboat) Joe here at Paddleducks always willing to
assist with information of his beloved towboats. He's a tremendous
source of information, wonderful modeler and a great asset to our
group.

I would also like to welcome all recently joined members of our
Group. Please don't hesitate to email the moderators if you need ANY
further information or help.
