Scott, Russ and I are working on a major update to our Great Eastern
site including new photos of the 1/350 scratch built model and the latest
news about the Revell 2002 re-issue of the 1/388 (odd box size) Great
Eastern. It is a one off. If anyone would like to have a kit, please post a
message and I see what I can do. I have a copy from Germany. It's almost
exactly the same as the 1980 issue except for the anchor chain which is now
longer and in copper.
Other updates include new data regarding versions, paint schemes and funnel
cross sections. Hey, I sound as if I try to sell something LOL, Of course
not, everything's for free. We are GE enthusiasts and we want to share the
results of our research with everyone interested. Same as here in the
Paddleducks group. :-)
